My love of art started very young. I started drawing faces and figures with the help of my mother, on empty spaces on the cartoon page of the newspaper. I have been fortunate to have many really fine and amazing teachers including Pat Fridley, Wassily Sommer, Hugh McPeck and Dee Boyles, to name a few. My influences come from many artists and my favorites are: John Singer Sargent, Lazlo, David Kassan. I enjoy putting pencil or brush to a blank sheet of paper or canvas, especially if I find a subject which inspires me.
I hope you enjoy my work.
